- Advanced level knowledge of Microsoft Access and Excel - I have built databases and spreadsheets to analyse reader surveys, maintain contacts, etc.
- Extremely advanced knowledge of the Internet, email and HTML - after years of professionally scouring the Web I am known as 'The Man With The Internet In His Head'!
- Experience of appearing on national and local media.
- Contributor to national and local newspapers, magazines and websites.
- Writer of comedy sketches for ITV and plays for productions at Bolton Little Theatre.
- Columnist in newspapers including the Bolton Evening News.
- Design experience includes magazines, brochures, invitations, posters, information packs, flyers and other media.
- Author of Jungle to e-ternity' book (Da Vinci-Bennett, 2000) and main contributor to How To Do Just About Anything On The Internet (Reader's Digest, 2002).
Interests
I play football regularly and also go to the gym twice a week. A voracious reader, I get through at least a book a week, with a particular interest in modern literary fiction and Russian writing.
